Every two years, Wisconsin real estate licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education (CE) to maintain their real estate license in the state of Wisconsin, as required by the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).

Those requirements haven’t changed. But what has changed is the curriculum that gets you there!

Launching for the 2023-24 real estate biennium is new curriculum with the same 18-hour credit requirement, but with a twist. Instead of three-hour CE courses, the new curriculum allows licensees to choose one-hour courses to meet the total 18-hour credit requirement.
