Wisconsin Pre-license (Out-of-State Licensee)

Sales license requirements

Salesperson applicants who have held a sales licenses in another state within the last two years are required to take 13 hours of sales pre-license education before taking the state exam. The course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. The state exam is administered by Pearson VUE. A copy of your out-of-state license must be submitted with the Wisconsin license application.

Broker license requirements

Broker applicants who have held a broker license in another state for at least two years with the last four years are required to take the 13 hours of sales pre-license education and 6 hours of broker pre-license education before taking both state exams. The course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. The examinations are administered by Pearson VUE. A copy of your out-of-state broker license must be submitted with the Wisconsin license application.
