New-home Construction and Buyer Representation Course

Shift your expertise into a different gear with this specialized training that prepares you for representing buyers during the homebuilding process. While you likely help clients find ready-to-move-in homes, this training equips you with the tools to thrive in guiding buyers through the exciting process of constructing a new home with a builder. In this course, you'll learn how to successfully interact with home builders and sales representatives in order to protect clients' best interests and grow future business. You'll finish this course with detailed knowledge surrounding the purchase, construction and customization of a new home.

  • Gain an appreciation for the business of new homes from the perspective of the builder and sales representative.
  •  Assist clients in evaluating the pros and cons of purchasing new homes vs. existing homes.

  • Credits: This course qualifies for six GRI credits, provides ABR elective credit when working toward the ABR designation, and is approved for six hours of 2023-24 CE elective credit.
