Real Estate Broker Pre-license Education Common Questions

What type of material does the online real estate broker pre-license course cover, and how can I take the course?

Course content includes topics such as contracts, approved forms, trust accounts, escrow and closing statements, business management and marketing, financial and office management, personnel business ethics and consumer protection.

The WRA offers the broker pre-license course in On Demand format.

Self-study On Demand: This course is entirely online. The course is made up of 12 chapters; each is set up with a printable PDF containing chapter content along with a video lecture, true/false questions, vocabulary, case studies and quiz sections. After completing the required assignments, you will take a practice exam for course completion and print your certificate.

How can I prepare for the broker exam?

In addition to completing the education requirements, students not already enrolled in a WRA broker pre-license course can purchase access to a simulated exam and/or a vocabulary tool to help with additional test preparation.

What if I fail the state exam? Do I need to complete the course again?

If you have completed the WRA pre-license course and failed the licensing exam, you may retake any portion of the course within six months of first completing the course, at no charge.
