Out-of-State Pre-license Education Common Questions

General questions

How can I prepare for the Wisconsin real estate sales exam?

An out-of-state licensee has educational requirements that differ from the educational requirements that must be met for an original real estate license. This can be done entirely online.

The On Demand course includes sections of course video footage and printable course materials. There are no course materials to ship so you can start your course right away. When you complete the coursework, you will be able to print your certificate of completion and take the Wisconsin real estate exam. A copy of the out-of-state license must be submitted to the Department of Safety and Professional Services with the application for licensure.

How long do I have to complete the course?

Students have six months from the date of registration to complete all courses, after which time re-registration is required.

What is the fee for the courses?
