The WRA's remaining legislative priorities for the 2017-18 legislative session successfully passed in the Wisconsin Legislature before the legislature concluded its session last month. 

Recently passed legislation

• AB 793/SB 668: The historic tax credit bill increased the total tax credits to $3,500,000 for all projects undertaken on the same parcel beginning July 1, 2018.
• AB 812/SB 687: This bill will help provide a more user-friendly real estate disclosure report for a seller to complete when selling residential or vacant land.  
• AB 771/SB 639: This legislation updated landlord-tenant law in Wisconsin to help make rental housing more affordable.

Bill status

These bills are awaiting Gov. Scott Walker's signature to officially become law.

The WRA engages in advocacy on behalf of REALTORS^® and property owners through a variety of programs including the REALTORS^® Political Action Committee and the Wisconsin Homeowners Alliance.
