At REALTOR® & Government Day on April 24 in Madison, you’ll join hundreds of fellow Wisconsin REALTORS® to meet with your lawmakers to lobby for Wisconsin real estate. With the strength in our numbers, you can join fellow REALTORS® to collectively make a difference for your industry.

Background: The WRA’s legislative team is currently analyzing four key issues, and you’ll be able to lobby for these issues on April 24:

  • Property taxes
  • First-time homebuyer savings accounts
  • DSPS operating system upgrade
  • Monitoring of property by sellers

What’s in play: REALTOR® & Government Day is your prime opportunity to advocate for these issues directly with your lawmakers so they can understand the importance of these issues on your practice and Wisconsin’s real estate market.

Bill status: These four initiatives are currently pending in the legislature, and your advocacy efforts at REALTOR® & Government Day can help ensure that these initiatives are passed into law, ultimately benefiting your practice, your clients and the Wisconsin real estate market.
