This past April, 500 Wisconsin REALTORS® gathered for the WRA’s annual REALTOR® & Government Day (RGD) in Madison. The event began with remarks from Gov. Tony Evers and an issue briefing on key advocacy issues: addressing the workforce housing shortage, improving DSPS services and maintaining property tax limits.

Next, REALTORS® visited the state Capitol — the crucial part of the day — to meet with lawmakers and advocate on these issues. And the day was a major success: Gov. Evers signed workforce housing bills into law, approved funding for DSPS improvements, and maintained property tax levy limits. The unified voice of REALTORS® really does make a difference!

In fact, Wisconsin REALTORS® have united at RGD for over 40 years, achieving remarkable legislative success. In the past decade, the WRA has enacted nearly 100 laws and also defeated harmful proposals. Here’s a list of the key issues addressed with your support over the past decade at RGD.
